Store Floor Lead, FT (Sur La Table)

About the role

The Store Floor Lead is responsible for managing the in-store customer experience, ensuring product availability, and assisting customers with their shopping needs. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the store floor to ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
• Ensure that all products are displayed attractively and are available for purchase.
• Assist customers with their purchases and provide recommendations based on their needs and preferences.
• Train and mentor other employees to improve their performance and customer service skills.
• Participate in store events and promotions to increase sales and customer engagement.
• Follow all safety and security protocols to maintain a safe environment for customers and employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
