Job Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the dishwasher roles
- Schedule and assign daily work activities to staff and supervise the completion of tasks
- Maintain all relevant logs consistently and accurately, including but not limited to: sanitizer concentration, machine sanitizing temperature, temperature probe logs, etc.
- Aid with End-of-Month department inventory
- Maintain accuracy of chemical inventory on a weekly basis
- Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
- Maintain dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas
- Ensure equipment is clean and is in working condition; report any issues to leadership
- Perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks
- Ensure that chemicals and janitorial items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment
- Supervise Stewards & Lead Stewards; promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork
- Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift
- Ensure security of company assets
- Accept constructive feedback and provide ideas, concerns to and from leadership
- Maintain communication with direct supervisor and Culinary Leadership
Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Previous dishwasher experience
- Previous experience as a shift lead or related role
- TEAM/ServSafe Alcohol Certification (preferred)
- ServSafe or Food Safety Certification equivalent (Required)
- Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of up to 50lbs
- Willingness to accept change and new procedures
- Maintains emotional control under stress
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Coordinates multiple tasks, meets production/service time schedules, and adapts to necessary and unforeseen changes
- Works independently and leads a team with limited to no direct supervision
