Statewide Procurement Card Analyst - Departmental Analyst 9-P11 (Trainee)
About the role
This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing compliance monitoring reports, managing the State of Michigan’s Amazon Business Account, serving as the statewide point of contact for AMP PCard Training and Certification, and collaborating with the Statewide Oversight Specialist to address departmental non-compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze compliance monitoring reports, including developing reports, distributing them to departments, reviewing responses, and tracking metrics to ensure transactions comply with State Administrative Guides and Statewide PCard Program Manuals.
- Manage the State of Michigan’s Amazon Business Account to ensure proper use in accordance with statewide policies and for official state business only.
- Serve as the statewide point of contact for AMP PCard Training and Certification within the State of Michigan Learning Center.
- Collaborate with the Statewide Oversight Specialist to address departmental non-compliance.
Requirements
The position requires possession of a bachelor's degree in any major and one year of professional experience for Departmental Analyst 9-P11. For Departmental Analyst 10, two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service, is required. For Departmental Analyst (Departmental Trainee) 9, four years of experience as an advanced 9-level worker in an ECP Group One classification, or the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services, may be substituted for the education requirement.

Schedule
This position may work a hybrid (remote/office) schedule with 2 days required in the office per week. Selected candidates who have been approved to work a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
