About the role
This position ensures compliance with the MLCC Enforcement Division’s Direct Shipper laws, conducts investigations and audits, and prepares annual reports to the legislature.
Responsibilities
- Program planning and training
- Gathering and analyzing metrics for the program
- Conducting research to assist the team
- Monitoring and evaluating the program operation
- Recommending process improvements
- Completing the annual report to the legislature
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any major
- One year of professional experience
- Experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service
Qualifications
- Ability to analyze and prepare legal and business documents
- Experience in compliance analysis of statutory laws, policies, or administrative rules
- Ability to interpret statutory laws, rules, policies, and procedures
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other relevant computer programs
