About the role

This position ensures compliance with the MLCC Enforcement Division’s Direct Shipper laws, conducts investigations and audits, and prepares annual reports to the legislature.

Responsibilities

  • Program planning and training
  • Gathering and analyzing metrics for the program
  • Conducting research to assist the team
  • Monitoring and evaluating the program operation
  • Recommending process improvements
  • Completing the annual report to the legislature

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any major
  • One year of professional experience
  • Experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service

Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze and prepare legal and business documents
  • Experience in compliance analysis of statutory laws, policies, or administrative rules
  • Ability to interpret statutory laws, rules, policies, and procedures
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other relevant computer programs
