About the role
We are currently seeking a Staffing Coordinator to provide staffing support and execution to Simon-Kucher’s Americas consulting team. This position can be located in one of our offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Boston, or San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Receive staffing requests from Partners in the Americas Division and collaborate with the Staffing Manager to fulfill requests promptly.
- Adhere to division’s staffing principles but propose creative solutions as necessary to achieve best and pragmatic staffing solutions.
- Affords to identify skills shortages, excess capacity, supply/demand imbalances, and forecasts before there is a negative impact on the business.
- Affords to address and resolve staffing challenges, including reallocation and redeployment of consultants as needed, with a creative approach.
- Affords to optimize resource allocation in cooperation with the Americas staffing team to ensure efficient use of talent and meet project deadlines.
- Affords to embrace the ebb and flow of talent through our pipeline programs (summer internships, Co-ops and PhDs) from a staffing perspective and assist with those programs’ activities.
- Affords to support day-to-day staffing and HR-related matters for the Americas Division, effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Affords to assist with reporting on key metrics related to people productivity and utilization, including current and forecasted chargeability (supply/demand).
- Affords to assist in maintaining updated skills profiles on all consultants in the pool.
- Affords to track skill development requests from staff and monitor training needs across the division.
- Affords to assist with key people change initiatives that drive the advancement of Simon-Kucher’s HR strategy aimed at driving a high-performing and highly engaged culture.
- Affords to assist with reporting for learning and development programs and performance management and to help make insightful recommendations on areas for improvement.
- Uses data to provide insights, advice, and to support informed decision making. Analyzes historical staffing data and project performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Shows strong social skills and can build strong stakeholder relationships and partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
- 0-3 years of experience in work staffing, scheduling, resource planning and/or project management.
- Demonstrates strong technical skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new platforms. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Possesses a strong client service and problem-solving orientation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possesses strong accuracy and organizational skills.
- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Able to multi-task.

Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000/year. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 13 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
