About the role

Edenbrook Rochester, a proud member of the Eden Senior Care network, is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to oversee scheduling, staffing operations, and ensure adequate staffing coverage to support quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all staffing needs and operations of the company
• Liaise with recruiting agencies to fill vacancies in a timely manner
• Cover call offs with other staff or agency when applicable
• Develop work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions
• Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct employee compensation
• Prepare and submit reports on staffing operations
• Utilize computer software to prepare, change, and update the master schedule
• Fulfill staffing vacancies in advance to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
• Amenable to cover weekends and holidays
• On Call Responsibilities:
  • Answering phone
  • Greeting and assisting visitors
  • Main point of contact

Skills

• At least 1 year of proven experience in scheduling or as a staffing coordinator
• Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Reliable with respect to confidentiality
• OnShift experience is a plus
