Staffing Coordinator

Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and generates efficient and accurate schedules for nurses aides & home health aides.
• Coordinates and prioritizes assignments based on need; ensures regular and effective communication with appropriate internal staff, including CHHAs, RNs, managers, and other team members.
• Coordinates and works with managers and other appropriate staff to assign work on a daily basis; promptly alerts management of scheduling gaps for service needs.
• Ensures accurate and appropriate levels of service within scope of responsibility.
• Monitors and controls use of overtime and contract labor.
• Ensures Hospice Aides follow company procedures and promptly communicates any concerns or issues to the appropriate manager.
• Provides input into the clinical evaluations of all Hospice Aides.
• Communicates scheduling-related concerns or issues involving Hospice Aides to the appropriate manager for follow-up.
• Remains flexible and adaptable regarding work schedule and assignments based on operational needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year scheduling/staffing experience.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
