Responsibilities
- Shares in the responsibility of maintaining the safety of the residents, staff, visitors, and communities we serve.
- Shares in the responsibility for making sure that the interior and exterior of the program is safe and clean at all times.
- Assists with the implementation and oversight of residential programming and facility wide outings/activities.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Community Relations Director to plan and implement activities.
- Coincides with Residential Service Manager’s, Lead Clinicians, and Residential Service Managers to implement appropriate participation in recreational community activities.
- Aids in the interviewing and hiring of new residential staff.
- Aids in the training of residential staff in conjunction with the Milieu Supervisors and Residential Service Managers.
- Always Ensures proper staffing of YBS and Supervisors/RSM’S.
- Oversees PTO Calendar and monitors/approves time off.
- Aids in problem solving and reports on programmatic issues at staff, team, and supervisor meetings.
- Participates in agency-wide Performance and Quality Improvement Committee (PQI) as well as the Residential subcommittee.
- Attends mandatory residential all staff meetings and supervisor meetings.
- Works with training department and onboarding/recruiting regarding new hires.
- Issues new hire schedules and ensures that training and shadowing are completed following new hire (NED) training.
- Aids in ensuring that staff attend all necessary quarterly training.
- Performs other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least two years’ experience working with youth.
- One year of experience supervising staff preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to effectively communicate with youth, employees, and administration.
