Job Description

The staff nurse plays a critical role in staff engagement, the patient experience, quality and safety, and cost effective care.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Nursing from a CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited nursing program required.
- Current Ohio license or interim permit.
- Experience in relevant care setting preferred.
About the Role
The Nationwide Children's NICU at The University Hospital Wexner Medical Center is a 51 bed, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Our NICU team includes a variety of team members including nurses, PCAS, UCAs, milk techs, who work directly with an even larger multi-disciplinary team from Physicians, to NNPs, Case Managers, Nutrition, Pharmacy and Social Workers, specifically dedicated to our NICU population. As a Nationwide Children's NICU here at OSU, we are a part of the NCH Neonatal Network making us one of ten NICU throughout the city.
