About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities, prevents illness and injury, and alleviates suffering through diagnosis and treatment of human response and advocacy in the care of individuals and families. The RN is accountable for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development in accordance with the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services policies, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the Bill of Patient Rights. Responsibilities
- Manage and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients, serving as a primary or accountable nurse.
- Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management.
- Administer medications safely according to United Health Services policy.
- Utilize resources effectively, including staffing, time management, and supplies.
- Comply with all nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the Nursing Shared Governance Model and improvement initiatives.
- Engage in professional development and continuing education.
- Integrate nursing research and evidence into practice.
- Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students.
- Follow all United Health Services Values and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 6 months - 3 years of nursing (RN) experience.
- BLS & ACLS certification required.
Qualifications
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting (preferred).

Schedule
Interventional Radiology. This position is 4 × 10 with on‑call one day per week and every third weekend (Friday at 16:30 – Monday at 07:30).
