Sr Product Marketing Mgr. Tech, AWS Agentic AI Developer Tools
About the role
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Technical at AWS, you will shape the future of AI-powered developer tools by working backwards from customer needs to influence product strategy across our portfolio of AI developer tools, with a focus on agentic AI capabilities that help developers build, test, and deploy software faster with AI assistance.
This role requires a blend of technologist and business strategist—someone who can dive deep into how developers work and how agentic AI is transforming the software development lifecycle while crafting portfolio-level value propositions that resonate with customers. You will partner with product and GTM teams to identify ideal customers, understand their priorities and use cases, shape our portfolio of offerings, synthesize market intelligence, and develop messaging that helps customers understand how AWS can transform their developer experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product management and GTM teams to develop product and portfolio-level strategies.
- Create and own positioning and messaging that clearly articulates value propositions to developer and technical decision-maker audiences.
- Analyze and synthesize market data from multiple sources (including direct customer feedback) to identify product opportunities and shape portfolio strategy.
- Lead product launch strategies and associated plans, including naming, target audience definition, and marketing vehicles.
- Develop technical content including presentations, demonstrations, and reference architectures that educate developers on AWS agentic AI and developer tools offerings.
- Represent AWS as a technical evangelist in executive briefings, industry events, and analyst interactions.
- Drive field enablement strategies to support product launches, campaigns, and customer success.
- Align with technical and business leaders on primary agentic AI development use cases for their specific ideal customer profiles; define best practice workflows and tooling recommendations for each use case.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- 6+ years of direct work with developer tools, AI/ML technologies, or cloud development platforms.
- Experience developing messaging and content for developer and technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience shaping business strategy for technical products or services for large enterprises or partners.
- Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data.
- MBA or Master's degree.
- Experience with AI-powered developer tools, code generation, AI agents, or AI-assisted software development workflows.
- Track record of creating compelling technical demonstrations and reference architectures.
- Experience presenting to executive-level audiences and industry analysts.
- Understanding of how developers discover, evaluate, and adopt new tools and platforms.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is:
- USA, CA, San Francisco: $161,900 - $218,600 USD annually
- USA, CA, Santa Clara: $161,900 - $218,600 USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle: $147,200 - $198,700 USD annually
Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
