Marketing Manager, AWS Agentic AI Developer Tools
About the role
Developers are at the center of the AI revolution, and AWS is building the most comprehensive set of AI-powered developer tools to help them build faster, smarter, and more creatively. As a Marketing Manager for AI Developer Tools, you will own and execute marketing programs that drive developer awareness and adoption of AWS's AI-powered development tools. You will develop developer-centric content and campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels, translating complex AI and developer tooling concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with technical audiences.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, developer relations, demand generation, events, and field teams to deliver integrated marketing programs that drive measurable business results. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of how developers discover, evaluate, and adopt tools, combining strong marketing fundamentals with genuine curiosity about AI and software development.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product management and GTM teams to develop product and portfolio-level strategies.
- Create and own positioning and messaging that clearly articulates value propositions to developer and technical decision-maker audiences.
- Analyze and synthesize market data from multiple sources (including direct customer feedback) to identify product opportunities and shape portfolio strategy.
- Lead product launch strategies and associated plans, including naming, target audience definition, and marketing vehicles.
- Develop technical content including presentations, demonstrations, and reference architectures that educate developers on AWS agentic AI and developer tools offerings.
- Represent AWS as a technical evangelist in executive briefings, industry events, and analyst interactions.
- Drive field enablement strategies to support product launches, campaigns, and customer success.
- Align with technical and business leaders on primary agentic AI development use cases for their specific ideal customer profiles; define best practice workflows and tooling recommendations for each use case.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
- Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
- Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using customer research, hard data, and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs.
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, and reporting for demand generation.

Pay
USA, CA, East Palo Alto - $88,700.00 - $155,200.00 USD annually
USA, CA, San Francisco - $88,700.00 - $155,200.00 USD annually
USA, WA, Seattle - $82,700.00 - $141,100.00 USD annually
Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
