Speech Pathologist (Clinical Fellowship), Full Time, Day Shift
About the role
Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders under the supervision of RPE/CFY supervisors. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a department role model and clinical resource.
- Maintains and advances professional knowledge and experience through continual educational opportunities.
- Aids in department operations, as requested by managers.
- Ensures patient, visitor and staff safety. Identifies and reports potential hazards.
- Collaborates with other professional disciplines to plan, implement, evaluate and revise individualized patient care and discharge plans, based on patient medical record.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience: Master's Degree or foreign equivalent: Required
- Licenses/Certifications: Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Preferred; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $45.39 to $62.26. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
