About the role
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services to patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders in a home health and hospice setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, document, and monitor patient progress related to speech and swallowing functions.
- Review and modify treatment plans based on individual needs and progress.
- Instruct patients on techniques to monitor and improve speech skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and organizational policies.
- Identify changes in physical and emotional parameters to inform care.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Pathologist.
- CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor.
- Preferred: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Valid Driver's License and minimum age of 21.
