Specialty Operations Tech 2 - Pharm Ops
The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 supports Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications. Performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments, including computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to Specialty Rx specific operational processes and programs to optimize health outcomes, effective communication with patients and providers, contacting physicians for prescription clarification, and entering prescription orders into the system. Decisions focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments, with some latitude over prioritization and timing under minimal direction.
Requirements
- Active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
Work at Home Requirements
- Self-provided internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps (wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection suggested)
- Dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
- Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required

Pay
The pay range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment at the time of posting. Individual pay will vary based on geographic location, skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
- $40,000 - $52,300 per year
