About the role
The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 supports Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications. The role performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Responsibilities include computations, contacting physicians for prescriptions clarification, entering prescription orders into the system, supporting Pharmacists and Patients, and ensuring adherence to Specialty Rx specific operational processes and programs.

Requirements
- Active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or ExCPT program
Skills
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
- Excellent communication skills

Pay
$40,000 - $52,300 per year
Schedule
Monday-Friday: 9 AM-5:30 PM EST or a 10 AM-6:30 PM EST
Work from Home Requirements
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Requires a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps. Wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Travel
Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
