About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse – Specialty Office provides general nursing care to patients, families, and caregivers within Medical Group practices. They collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Gather patient data and assist with examinations and treatments
• Support self-care plans under clinical guidance
• Maintain equipment and practice standard precautions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Communicate effectively within the healthcare team
• Adhere to professional standards, safety protocols, and continuous education requirements

Requirements

• Graduate of a practical nursing program
• Current New York State LPN license
• BLS certification (must be obtained within six weeks of hire)
