About the role
Special Olympics North Carolina, a volunteer-driven non-profit organization, is looking for enthusiastic Volunteers & Coaches to help athletes develop skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of competition.
No matter what your sports passion is—your leadership can have a lasting impact!
Coaches are currently needed for:
- Bocce
- Equestrian
- Flag Football
- Golf
- Pickleball
- Soccer
- Softball
Responsibilities
- Teach sport-specific skills and fundamentals
- Encourage teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship
- Lead or assist with practices
- Prepare athletes for competitions
- Create a fun, positive, and inclusive environment
Requirements
We're looking for people who:
- Enjoy working with others
- Have a passion for sports and community service
- Want to make a meaningful difference
- Can commit to practices and competitions during the season
No coaching experience is required. Special Olympics North Carolina provides training, resources, and coach certification.
