About the Role
Special Olympics North Carolina of New Hanover County is looking for enthusiastic Volunteer Coaches to help athletes develop skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of competition. No matter your sports passion, your leadership can have a lasting impact.
Responsibilities
- Teach sport-specific skills and fundamentals
- Encourage teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship
- Lead or assist with practices
- Prepare athletes for competitions
- Create a fun, positive, and inclusive environment

Qualifications
No coaching experience is required. Special Olympics North Carolina provides training, resources, and coach certification.
