Volunteer Coaches

• Teach sport-specific skills and fundamentals
• Encourage teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship
• Lead or assist with practices
• Prepare athletes for competitions
• Create a fun, positive, and inclusive environment

• Those with a passion for sports and community service
• Individuals willing to commit to practices and competitions during the season

Qualifications

No coaching experience is required. Special Olympics North Carolina provides training, resources, and coach certification.
