Showroom Experience Manager- Los Angeles, CA
Location: Los Angeles, CA (primarily on-site at our Los Angeles Showroom – 1031 South Broadway Street, 2nd Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90015).
About the role
The Showroom Experience Manager drives showroom utilization, sales enablement, and revenue generation by positioning the space as an active selling tool and client engagement hub. This role is responsible for turning showroom activity into measurable business outcomes—partnering with sales teams, dealers, and A&D professionals to create experiences that convert interest into sales and strengthen brand preference.
The Showroom Experience Manager manages all aspects of the showroom to ensure seamless operation and exceptional client experiences that support our growth objectives. This includes leading event strategy, hosting key presentations and tours, and using the showroom to accelerate opportunity creation and pipeline advancement. They act as both curator and host—using strong product knowledge, market expertise, and business acumen to connect customers to solutions that drive results. They also play a key role in supporting training sessions and product launch initiatives, ensuring the showroom functions as a platform for learning, excitement, and sales momentum.

Responsibilities
- Elevate the brand at every customer interaction and serve as the communication link between Kimball International customers and company personnel.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor and share progress toward achieving showroom activation goals.
- Proactively own and drive initiatives to increase showroom utilization (meetings, events, outreach).
- Build relationships with key clients and partners to build brand loyalty and generate business leads.
- Partner with Brand and local teams to prioritize new product introductions in tours and events.
- Work closely with internal leadership to expand knowledge and insight within the Health and Education strategy to drive vertical market success.
- Collaborate with Kimball International Marketing on design and product decisions for the showroom and implement product change-outs by hiring local installers.
- During product changes, partner with the Regional Sales Director and regional team to sell off existing furniture to other tenants, dealers, designers, or interested parties.
- Develop strategies to enhance the overall customer experience within the showroom.
- Implement initiatives to ensure a positive and memorable customer journey.
- Create, propose, and execute an event strategy while partnering with local field sales and A&D teams to host these events.
- Work with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to create, initiate, run, and conclude showroom events.
- Create and distribute invitations in line with brand standards; support the internal team with invitation creation and distribution.
- Attend and host events in the showroom, including after-hours events.
- Maintain the showroom’s visual presentation in accordance with direction set by the Kimball International Marketing team’s showroom strategy and provide input from the marketplace.
- Work closely with the marketing team to implement showroom-specific marketing plans.
- Ensure showroom branding and messaging align with the overall brand image.
- Coordinate showroom events, product launches, and customer engagement activities.
- Network and communicate throughout the territory and local community to acquire showroom exposure and create brand awareness.
- Leverage digital marketing platforms and social media to promote the showroom.
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make necessary adjustments.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the showroom, ensuring smooth functioning.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure availability of products and services.
- Maintain inventory levels and oversee visual merchandising to showcase products effectively.
- Communicate with internal and external service providers to maintain showroom and office efficiencies.
- Manage payment and routing of invoices for various showroom functions.
- Monitor and manage the cleanliness and maintenance of the showroom.
- Implement operational processes and guidelines to streamline workflows.
- Provide support, guidance, and motivation to the team to achieve sales targets and activation goals.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork among showroom staff.
- Enter analytics into Salesforce with 100% accuracy on a weekly basis.
- Present observations, metrics, and recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor and manage the showroom budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree preferred in a related field.
- Knowledge of the office furniture industry preferred.
Pay
Competitive annual salary range of $55,000 to $75,000, with the actual offer based on skills and experience. Eligible for a sales incentive pay program.
