Responsibilities
- Own and grow the Connecticut and Rhode Island territory by building strong agency relationships and driving profitable commercial P&C business.
- Spend most of your time in-market—meeting with agency partners, increasing submission flow, and shaping a high-quality book of business aligned to GUARD’s underwriting appetite.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in territory management, production underwriting, or broker distribution.
- Experience growing a book of business through agency relationships.
- Knowledge of commercial P&C (Workers’ Comp, BOP, Auto, Umbrella).
- Familiarity with the CT, RI market and agency environment.
- Experience using data and metrics to inform decisions.
- Clear and effective communication with agency partners and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills and independent problem-solving in complex situations.
