Senior Tax Expert - Retail

Role Overview: The TurboTax Retail Expert provides in-person tax assistance at retail or flagship locations, serving as a trusted advisor to help customers navigate their tax needs. Key Responsibilities: Offer full-service tax return preparation, advice, and support for various tax situations, ensuring accuracy and maximizing refunds.Community Engagement: Act as a local ambassador by participating in marketing efforts, attracting new clients, and building long-term relationships to grow the customer base.Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional service through professionalism, personalized guidance, and active listening to help clients achieve financial goals.Marketing & Outreach: Engage prospects, nurture leads, and create accessible tax-related content to enhance community presence. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with extensive tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law.Minimum three years of experience preparing at least 30 federal and state individual tax returns per season using professional software.Must hold or obtain necessary state licenses and PTIN; familiarity with Circular 230 preferred.Strong communication skills, bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) a plus.Comfortable working onsite, with a self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset and excellent customer service skills.Proficiency with tax software, CRM, and technology tools.
