Senior Tax Expert

Role Overview: The TurboTax Retail Expert is a frontline professional providing in-person tax assistance at retail or flagship locations. Responsibilities: Deliver full-service tax return preparation, advice, and support for diverse tax situations, ensuring accurate, personalized solutions.Engage with customers to understand their financial needs, build trust, and foster long-term relationships.Act as a community ambassador by representing TurboTax locally, participating in marketing efforts, and attracting new clients.Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.Support community engagement through content creation, outreach, and local events.Utilize tax software and resources efficiently, maintaining compliance with licensing requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Active EA, CPA, or attorney license, with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience.Experience filing 30+ federal and state tax returns per season using professional software.Strong knowledge of tax laws, Circular 230, and relevant licensing.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, bilingual abilities a plus.Customer-focused with entrepreneurial drive, high empathy, and tech proficiency.Willingness to work onsite and in a retail environment, wearing a uniform, with flexibility for peak periods.Passionate about community engagement and creating accessible tax content.
