Senior Tax Expert

Role Overview The TurboTax Retail Expert is responsible for providing in-person tax advice, preparation, and support at retail locations. They serve as trusted advisors, helping customers navigate various tax situations, optimize deductions, and maximize refunds. The role involves building long-term client relationships, engaging with the community, and promoting TurboTax services through proactive outreach and local marketing efforts. Key Responsibilities Deliver hands-on tax preparation and personalized advice for simple to complex tax scenarios.Create an exceptional customer experience by understanding client needs and establishing trust.Act as a community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and attracting new clients.Support marketing initiatives to make tax topics accessible and approachable.Utilize tax software, government resources, and team expertise to ensure accurate solutions. Qualifications & Skills Active EA, CPA, or attorney license with at least 3 years of tax preparation experience.Proficiency with professional tax software and familiarity with Circular 230.Strong communication skills; bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is a plus.Willingness to work onsite, wear a uniform, and engage with the community.Entrepreneurial mindset, high empathy, and excellent customer service skills.
