Senior Change Management Lead
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Change Manager to build and deliver change management solutions in support of various BAE Systems – Aerospace and Mission Systems (AMS) initiatives. This position will initially lead the change management execution for a complex transformation within our Supply Chain organization. In this highly visible role, the HR Change Manager will operate with a high degree of autonomy while coordinating with the Director, Change Management and Enablement for guidance and oversight. This role serves as a capable partner to business areas and functions, developing and delivering effective change solutions that drive desired outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Drive the delivery of change management plans that build commitment and minimize resistance.
- Regularly evaluate people risks; develop and deliver mitigating solutions.
- Collect, analyze, and communicate change impacts to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with functional partners to develop consequence management plans to reward new behaviors and discourage old behaviors.
- Design and develop change management content (e.g., deliverables, presentations).
- Assess leadership and sponsor alignment.
- Conduct stakeholder analyses, change impact assessments, risk assessments, and readiness assessments to inform communications, training, and leader alignment plans.
- Conduct training needs assessments and design or help develop curriculum plans and/or training sessions.
- Collaborate with others (e.g., project management, communications, learning & development, project SMEs) to deliver change-driven solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to drive alignment and adoption.
- Leverage the AMS change methodology and building commitment framework to support initiatives and demonstrate change capabilities among business and functional colleagues.
- Collaborate with change and HR leaders to evolve change management practices, tools, and templates in support of building change capabilities throughout the AMS workforce.
- Build positive perceptions of change.
- Establish and grow productive relationships with HR, Business, and Functional colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years in change management roles which include facilitating organizational change initiatives.
- Experience working across functional boundaries and in ambiguous, complex environments.
- Excellent consultative, facilitation, and communication skills that fuel the ability to drive change and influence decision making.
- Ability to quickly build trusting partnerships.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management, including C-Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve desired goals.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving with the ability to organize work to meet expectations.
- Ability to generate creative ideas and solutions to develop customized client materials.
- Demonstrated personal resilience in the face of dynamic change.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in change management.
- Large-scale change management experience of enterprise transformations, organizational capability requirements, and readiness across multiple disciplines.
- Certifications: Prosci, CCMP, MCMP, CMS.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $118,747 - $201,870. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
