Responsibilities

  • Schedules sales calls to meet or exceed revenue and unit growth objectives.
  • Determines needs of existing and potential accounts to effectively sell company products in the OR.
  • Analyzes contract access, sales figures, and reports to identify trends and opportunities within the territory.
  • Navigates and excels in the OR to provide product support to surgeons and hospital personnel.
  • Engages multiple surgeons within a specialty with various corporate resources.
  • Delivers creative solutions to customer needs regarding products and services.
  • Builds and maintains meaningful relationships with decision makers throughout all sites of care.
  • Delivers presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on the safe and effective use of company products.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends and competitive activities.
  • Collaborates with national accounts and reimbursement teams to ensure effective support is provided to physicians and accounts.
  • Provides accurate and timely reporting and tracking of sales activities, product inventory, and territory sales forecasts.
  • Supports trade shows and drives attendance with surgeons from the respective territory.

Requirements

  • B.A or B.S (or equivalent) required
  • 5+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical outside sales OR sales experience
  • Field-based position with 80-90% travel within assigned territory
  • Physically capable of standing for long hours in the Operating Room during cases

Qualifications

  • Specific subspecialties of focus: Lower Extremity, Plastics, Vascular, and Ortho Trauma and Ortho Oncology

Pay

Salary range: $70,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule
