Responsibilities

  • Schedule sales calls to meet or exceed revenue and unit growth objectives.
  • Determine needs of existing and potential accounts to effectively sell company products in the OR.
  • Create and implement sales strategies by analyzing contract access, sales figures, and reports.
  • Navigate and excel in the OR to provide product support to surgeons and hospital personnel.
  • Engage multiple surgeons within a specialty with various corporate resources.
  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to ensure customer and patient satisfaction.
  • Provide creative solutions to customer needs regarding products and services.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with decision makers throughout all sites of care.
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on the safe and effective use of company products.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive activities.
  • Determine necessary resources to achieve sales objectives for all clients.
  • Support surgeons at trade shows and help drive attendance.

Requirements

  • B.A or B.S (or equivalent) required
  • 5+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical outside sales OR sales experience
  • Field-based position with 80-90% travel within the assigned territory
  • Physically capable of standing for long hours in the Operating Room during cases

Qualifications

  • Customer-first mentality in approach to customer and patient satisfaction
  • Ability to navigate and excel in the OR to provide product support
  • Specific subspecialties of focus: lower extremity, plastics, vascular, and ortho trauma and ortho oncology

Skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with decision makers
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitive activities
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule
