Senior Account Executive (SAE)- San Francisco, CA (2nd)
Responsibilities
- Schedules sales calls to meet or exceed revenue and unit growth objectives.
- Determines needs of existing and potential accounts to effectively sell company products in the OR.
- Develops and implements sales strategies by analyzing contract access, sales figures, and reports.
- Navigates and excels in the OR to provide product support to surgeons and hospital personnel.
- Engages multiple surgeons within a specialty with various corporate resources.
- Delivers creative solutions to customer needs regarding products and services.
- Builds and maintains meaningful relationships with decision makers throughout all sites of care.
- Delivers presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on the safe and effective use of company products.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends and competitive activities.
- Collaborates with national accounts and reimbursement teams to ensure effective support is provided to physicians and accounts.
- Provides accurate and timely reporting and tracking of sales activities, product inventory, and territory sales forecasts.
- Supports trade shows and drives attendance with surgeons from respective territory.
Requirements
- B.A or B.S (or equivalent) required
- 5+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical outside sales OR sales experience
- Field-based position with 80-90% travel within assigned territory
- Physically capable of standing for long hours in the Operating Room during cases
Qualifications
- Specific subspecialties of focus: Lower Extremity, Plastics, Vascular, and Ortho Trauma and Ortho Oncology
