Selling District Manager
About the role
This position will oversee one location in Midlothian, VA. As a District Manager, you will drive sales performance and build strong customer and community relationships. Your day often begins by reviewing district sales results and performance metrics, using insights to identify opportunities, coach for improvement, and stay connected to results while maintaining balance.
You will think strategically about growth and how to help teams succeed in a competitive wireless environment. Much of your role is spent in the field, working closely with your employees, observing sales interactions, coaching in real time, and modeling customer-first selling behaviors.
Responsibilities
Developing people is central to your impact. Through team meetings and one-on-one coaching, you will teach, mentor, and build future leaders. You will recruit, hire, and develop talent while building strong succession plans. You will balance sales leadership with operational excellence, ensuring policies, inventory controls, cash handling, and merchandising standards are met.
You will plan schedules that support peak selling times and collaborate with peers and partners to drive district results. Your influence extends beyond the store through community involvement and volunteer initiatives.
Requirements
- At least a high school diploma, with an Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to work full-time hours (averages 45 hours/week)
- Ability to work in a retail, storefront environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel 100% of the time, including overnight travel, as required
- Ideal candidates will have multi-unit management experience
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
