Selling District Manager
About the role
This position oversees one location in Enterprise, AL. As a Selling District Manager, you drive sales performance and build strong customer and community relationships. Your role involves reviewing district sales results and performance metrics, identifying opportunities, coaching teams, and maintaining operational excellence. Much of your time is spent in the field, observing sales interactions, coaching in real-time, and modeling customer-first behaviors to improve sales and retention.
Developing people is central to your impact. You recruit, hire, and mentor talent, build succession plans, and lead team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions. You ensure operational standards—such as inventory controls, cash handling, and merchandising—are met while planning schedules to support peak selling times. Your influence extends beyond the store through community involvement and volunteer initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Review district sales results and performance metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvement.
- Spend time in the field, observing sales interactions, coaching teams in real-time, and modeling customer-first selling behaviors.
- Develop and mentor employees through team meetings, one-on-one coaching, and leadership development.
- Recruit, hire, and build succession plans for future leaders.
- Maintain operational excellence, including inventory controls, cash handling, and merchandising standards.
- Plan schedules to support peak selling times and collaborate with peers to drive district results.
- Engage in community involvement and volunteer initiatives.
Requirements
- At least a high school diploma (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Ability to work full-time hours (averages 45 hours/week).
- Ability to work in a retail, storefront environment with a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel 100% of the time, including overnight travel as required.
- Multi-unit management experience preferred.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay and Benefits
Average Salary: $100,000–$105,000
