About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Financial Institutions. This unarmed role in Orange Park, FL, offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
• Support a professional environment for financial institution operations by following site-specific policies and maintaining clear, accurate activity reports.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Pay

$18.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM
• Saturday: 12:30 PM - 08:30 PM
