Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Emergency Support

About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Emergency Support in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, loading zones, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services or site contacts as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Applicants must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licenses and certifications: Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
