Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Emergency Patrol

About the Role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Emergency Patrol Security Officer in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you through our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and report security-related concerns while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or unauthorized persons to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Pay

$17.70 per hour.

Schedule

• Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
