Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Readiness

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related events.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.00 / Hour

• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
