As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol public spaces, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and work collaboratively with the Allied Universal team while demonstrating agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, guests, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a public outdoor cultural location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout grounds, walkways, entrances, gathering areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Monitor visitor activity, support orderly use of public spaces, and provide directions or assistance while maintaining a professional and approachable presence.
- Respond to incidents, medical situations, weather-related concerns, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations as required.
- Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Job Schedule: Day Time, Wednesday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Friday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
