About the role
As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; assist with directions and report access-related irregularities.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs while communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Pay
$17.25 / hour
Schedule
- Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
