About the role
The Seasonal Chef Instructor, Pastry will be responsible for teaching cooking classes focused on pastry techniques and skills to customers at Sur La Table stores.
Responsibilities
- Teach classes on pastry techniques and skills to customers
- Ensure all classes are engaging and informative
- Adapt classes to meet the needs of different skill levels
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional pastry experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Education in culinary arts or related field preferred
- Experience teaching cooking classes
- Knowledge of pastry ingredients and techniques
