About the role
The Seasonal Chef Instructor, Pastry will be responsible for teaching cooking classes and demonstrations to customers at Sur La Table stores in Omaha, NE.
Responsibilities
- Teach cooking classes and demonstrations focusing on pastry techniques and recipes
- Engage customers through interactive cooking experiences
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during class sessions
- Assist in maintaining store appearance and cleanliness
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional culinary experience
- Experience teaching cooking classes or demonstrations
- Valid Food Handler’s Permit
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and recipes
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
- Passion for sharing culinary skills and knowledge
