About the role

The Seasonal Chef Instructor, Pastry will be responsible for teaching cooking classes and demonstrations to customers at Sur La Table stores in Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities

  • Teach cooking classes and demonstrations focusing on pastry techniques and recipes
  • Engage customers through interactive cooking experiences
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed during class sessions
  • Assist in maintaining store appearance and cleanliness

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional culinary experience
  • Experience teaching cooking classes or demonstrations
  • Valid Food Handler’s Permit

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and recipes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
  • Passion for sharing culinary skills and knowledge
