About the role
This position is responsible for scheduling surgical cases for a busy medical group, providing professional customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment while gathering required insurance and patient demographic information. The role requires independent, sound judgment in a medical business office setting.
Responsibilities
- Book, coordinate, and reschedule patient appointments as needed
- Update and maintain daily schedules for field technicians
- Ensure all cases are covered
- Maintain and update current information on schedules to ensure patients are scheduled properly
- Actively communicate with field personnel and management as needed
Requirements
- High School degree
- At least 6 months of experience in a general office environment
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in customer service
