About the role
The San Diego office of Fisher Phillips seeks an employment litigation associate with four to seven years of experience, including substantial prevailing wage experience.
Responsibilities
- Advising companies and handling California public works and federal (Davis-Bacon) prevailing wage matters
- Defending enforcement actions and individual claims before the DIR and DLSE
- Defending enforcement actions and individual claims in state and federal courts
- Advising clients
- Drafting and responding to discovery requests and initial pleadings
- Drafting and arguing motions
- Taking and defending depositions
Requirements
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Admission to the California Bar
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school

Pay
The yearly salary range for this position is $230,000 – $270,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
