Mid-Senior Level Prevailing Wage Associate

Responsibilities

  • Advises companies on California public works and federal prevailing wage compliance
  • Defends enforcement actions and individual claims before the DIR and DLSE, and litigates in state and federal courts
  • Manages all phases of litigation
  • Counsels clients on policies, handbooks, training, and day-to-day employment law issues related to public works
  • Collaborates with partners across matters in a free-market assignment model
  • Mets annual billables

Requirements

  • 4 - 7 years of employment litigation experience including substantial prevailing wage experience
  • Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar
  • Proven track record handling administrative proceedings and wage litigation
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
  • Proactive, self-directed attorney who works well independently and as part of a team
