Mid-Senior Level Wage & Hour Associate

Responsibilities
- Litigate claims under the California Labor Code, PAGA, and FLSA
- Manage wage, hour, class, and representative matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings
- Prepare and argue motions, including class certification and decertification motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Analyze exemption classifications and compliance issues
- Collaborate with multiple partners on various cases
- Engage in PAGA representative actions
Requirements
- Substantial experience litigating claims under the California Labor Code, PAGA, and FLSA
- Meaningful experience handling wage and hour class and representative matters from inception through resolution
- Proactive and self-starter attributes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience from a smaller boutique firm or a desire to transition from a large firm is preferred

Pay
$245,000 – $270,000 / Year DOE
