Fort Myers Broadcasting Company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sales Support Specialist to support our multiple radio properties in Southwest Florida. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working collaboratively, and is eager to grow within the media industry.
Responsibilities
- Enter, revise, and maintain radio advertising orders, including endorsements and talent fees
- Distribute invoices, cash statements, and spot reports to Account Executives and clients
- Reconcile billing discrepancies by comparing ordered vs. aired spots and processing adjustments
- Pull and confirm insertion orders from local and national portals
- Enter and manage makegoods as requested by Account Executives
- Maintain accurate advertisers and agency profiles in sales systems
- Scan, file, and organize signed insertion orders and sales documents
- Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reports, including BOB reports and talent fee reports
- Collaborate with internal teams—including promotions, production, traffic, and programming—to ensure seamless campaign execution
- Assist Account Executives with proposals, client communications, and scheduling
- Provide general administrative and office support, including answering incoming calls
- Learn and utilize radio sales systems and tools (WideOrbit experience a plus)
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office or administrative support role
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
- Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers and phones
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Radio sales systems and tools (WideOrbit experience a plus)
