Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of National/Corporate sales and marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Leaders and Field sales teams to drive alignment of sales performance.
  • Develop the appropriate selling strategies, programs and implementation guidelines for selling and servicing National/Corporate customers.
  • Ensure effective execution of and alignment with procurement strategy and preferred segment suppliers.
  • Ongoing assessment and development of sales team performance.
  • Lead National/Corporate Accounts' efforts to hire, coach, develop and retain segment sales talent.
  • Coordinate and lead team sales meetings.
  • Participate in key National/Corporate and local customer reviews.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years successful sales experience.
  • Successful sales team or division management experience.
  • Experience with large, National/Corporate or decentralized distribution sales organizations preferred.
  • Approximately 60% travel to customers, suppliers and locations within assigned area.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
  • Effective interpersonal, negotiating and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills.
  • Proficient PC skills.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of related experience of successful management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.
  • Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
