Account Executive, Corporate Sales
About the role
We're looking for a relationship-driven sales professional to own the latter stages of our corporate sales pipeline. In this hybrid role based at our Corporate Office in Dallas, TX, you'll take qualified opportunities—from hotels, event planners, and corporate gifting clients—and guide them from the initial conversation through to a signed agreement and successful order fulfillment. You'll combine consultative selling with hands-on account management by understanding each client's goals, developing tailored proposals, managing the sales process, and confidently closing deals that deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of qualified opportunities handed off from SDR-sourced pipeline, Web Leads, and Store Referrals
- Run discovery calls to understand event scope, gifting program needs, and budget
- Build and present proposals, including custom packaging and pricing options, in compliance with brand standards
- Independently structure corporate gifting and event programs for assigned accounts—tier selection, packaging options, delivery scheduling—without requiring case-by-case manager sign-off
- Negotiate and close deals, coordinating with operations to ensure accurate order specs and delivery timelines
- Manage the full opportunity lifecycle in Insightly—stage, next steps, and expected close date kept current
- Hit monthly and quarterly net sales targets (net sales = shipped-in-full orders)
- Contribute directly to quarterly account strategy and pipeline forecasting for your book of business
- Consistently close at a high rate against a healthy, qualified pipeline
- Deliver net sales on target, quarter over quarter
- Build strong client relationships that turn one-time orders into repeat corporate accounts
- Make sound, independent judgment calls on pricing and program structure that hold up without needing rework or escalation
Requirements
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience in a closing role, ideally in a relationship-driven, consultative sales motion
- Track record of managing a pipeline and hitting revenue targets
- Comfortable with proposal-building, negotiation, and cross-functional coordination (marketing, operations, logistics)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience in hospitality, events, corporate gifting, food & beverage, or a similarly relationship-intensive B2B vertical (a plus)
- CRM proficiency (Insightly or similar)
