About the role
The Sales Lead (SL) at Paper Source is responsible for creating memorable shopping experiences, executing visual merchandising and replenishment standards, and actively selling and engaging with customers. You will also mentor and support employees, drive results, and ensure compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Create memorable shopping experiences by providing consistent, friendly, and informed service.
- Execute flawless visual merchandising and replenishment standards to maintain a neat, tidy, shoppable, and inviting store presentation.
- Leverage key campaigns and services to actively sell and engage with customers.
- Develop employees by sharing knowledge and supporting their understanding of different store areas.
- Ensure efficient store operations by managing receiving, returns, and other daily processes, and addressing issues like shrink and expenses.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and communicate these insights to the team and pod to enhance the store experience.
- Communicate effectively and collaboratively with the store team, giving honest and respectful feedback when necessary.
- Drive results during assigned Manager on Duty (MOD) segments, meeting the store's performance targets.
- Lead merchandising and replenishment efforts during assigned MOD periods.
- Open and close the building, ensuring the safety of employees and customers.
- Comply with company standards regarding safety, customer experience, and all store operations, including asset protection.
- Work on the selling floor, requiring physical activity such as prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, and climbing.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Hours are flexible but must be less than 20 hours per week for certain benefits, between 20 and 29.99 hours for others, and 30 hours or more for full benefits.
