About the role

The Sales Lead (SL) at Paper Source models great selling behaviors, shares knowledge with the team, and engages customers to create memorable shopping experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Create memorable shopping experiences by providing consistent, friendly, and informed service.
  • Execute Visual Merchandising & Replenishment standards to maintain a neat, tidy, shoppable, and inviting store presentation.
  • Leverage key campaigns and services to actively sell and engage with customers.
  • Develop employees by sharing knowledge and supporting their understanding of store areas.
  • Direct work with timely management of receiving, returns, and other daily processes, ensuring efficiency and minimizing shrink and expenses.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement in operations to enhance the store experience for both customers and employees.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with the store team, giving honest and respectful feedback when necessary.
  • Drive results during Manager on Duty (MOD) segments, meeting the store's performance targets.
  • Lead merchandising and replenishment efforts during MOD periods.
  • Open and close the building, ensuring safety for employees and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards regarding safety, customer experience, and all store operations, including asset protection.
  • Work on the selling floor, requiring physical activity such as prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, and climbing.

Requirements

Must have solid operational knowledge to run the store, proven experience training employees, solid decision-making skills, and proven ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively.

Pay

An hourly rate starting of $18.75.
