About the role
The Sales Lead (SL) position at Paper Source is a part-time role located in Louisville, Kentucky 40207. This role models great selling behaviors, leads the team, and supports the achievement of sales goals while mentoring and supporting customer service associates.
Responsibilities
- Create memorable shopping experiences where customers look forward to returning based on consistent, friendly, and informed service.
- Ensure a vibrant store through flawless execution of Visual Merchandising & Replenishment standards, maintaining a neat, tidy, shoppable, and inviting presentation.
- Leverage key campaigns and services to actively sell and engage in conversation with every customer.
- Develop employees by sharing knowledge and supporting their understanding of different store areas.
- Direct work with timely management of receiving, returns, and other day-to-day processes, understanding issues of shrink and expenses.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operations and share with the team to enhance the store experience.
- Communicate effectively and collaboratively with the store team, giving honest and respectful feedback when appropriate.
- Drive results during assigned Manager on Duty (MOD) segments, meeting the store's performance targets.
- Lead merchandising and replenishment efforts during assigned MOD periods.
- Open and close the building, ensuring the safety of employees and customers.
- Comply with company standards regarding safety, customer experience, and all store operations, including asset protection.
- Work on the selling floor, requiring physical activity such as prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, and climbing.
Requirements
Must have a solid operational knowledge to run the store, proven experience training employees, solid decision-making skills, and proven ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively.
Qualifications
Understand and deliver excellent standards of service, continue to grow knowledge of product/market and cultural trends, and have proven experience in training employees.

Desire to lead the team and manage the store, mentor and support customer service associates, communicate effectively and work collaboratively, prioritize customer experience, delegate effectively, and enjoy working with people.

Schedule
Shifts are available for less than 20 hours per week, between 20 and 29.99 hours per week, and 30 hours or more per week. Benefits vary based on the number of hours worked per week.
