About the role
The Sales Lead (SL) role at Paper Source is designed to drive exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence. You'll be responsible for creating memorable shopping experiences, executing visual merchandising and replenishment standards, and supporting the growth and development of your team.
Responsibilities
- Create memorable shopping experiences where customers look forward to returning due to the quality of service and product knowledge.
- Ensure a vibrant store through flawless execution of Visual Merchandising & Replenishment standards.
- Leverage key campaigns and services to actively engage customers and colleagues.
- Develop employees by sharing knowledge and supporting their understanding of store operations.
- Direct work with timely management of receiving, returns, and other day-to-day processes, ensuring efficiency and minimizing shrinkage and expenses.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in operations.
- Communicate effectively and collaboratively with the store team, giving honest and respectful feedback when necessary.
- Drive results during assigned Manager on Duty (MOD) segments, meeting the store's performance targets.
- Lead merchandising and replenishment efforts during assigned MOD periods.
- Open and close the building, ensuring the safety of employees and customers.
- Comply with company standards regarding safety, customer experience, and all store operations, including asset protection.
- Work on the selling floor, requiring physical activity such as prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, and climbing.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong foundation in delivering excellent service, a deep understanding of the product line and market trends, solid operational knowledge, and proven experience in training employees. You must also possess solid decision-making skills and be able to communicate effectively and collaborate with others.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position starts at $16.00.
Schedule
This role is part-time, with schedules ranging from less than 20 hours per week to 30 hours or more, offering varying levels of benefits.
